Louisville, Now & Then

sample itinerary

Would you rather tour a city than drink yourself under its finest tables?

No problem, we got you.

Start your trip off with a walking tour of Historic Old Louisville. Then, let our friends over in the Portland neighborhood drive you through one of the city’s most interesting and evolving locations. Get a glimpse of it before it becomes the next big thang. We’ll stop for lunch at The Table and then meet the women behind DYESCAPE, one of the city’s new efforts to help incubate sustainable dying methods for fashion brand the Anchal Project. We’ll stop in to the Anchal Project’s store to do some unique shopping.

Then, we’ll spend a day at one of bourbon's most significant distillery renovations: Castle & Key. You’ll tour the 17th Century distillery and it’s amazing gardens - and might even meet Kentucky's first female master distiller since prohibition, Marianne Barnes. A grounds tour and lesson on distilling will round out your day. We will round out your trip exploring some of the best in modern art at 21C Hotel & Museum. A guided tour of their newest art exhibits, will be followed by an amazing farm-to-table dinner at PROOF on Main, their in-house restaurant. Craft cocktails will flow from their amazing mixologists, while you dine on food sourced from within a few hundred miles of where you're sitting. Soak in the art, try some of their limited editions bourbons and relax with your friends.

On your last day, we will take you to meet two of Louisville’s newest small businesses: Good Folks Coffee and Scarlet’s Bakery. A catered breakfast with a private coffee cupping class will end your time in Louisville on a sweet and caffeinated note.
